Being wet in a field

Well, the camping was kind of a success. Even though we only had 9 people in the end, due to various people having assorted excuses and it generally being very, very wet, we had a good time. Got the barbecue lit eventually on Friday, got it going easily on Saturday evening when it decided to stop raining all evening. Then got soaked putting the tent away after lunch on Sunday. Found a nice little pub for Saturday lunch. Had a nice afternoon tea on Friday (how we didn't end up with 2 soups, I don't know. Silly, confused woman).

And despite it being a bit cold, we all had fun sat around a barbecue filled with wood to keep warm. This did, of course, mean we all instantly froze the second we went to bed and tried to remove clothes. But sleeping bags soon warm up.

And someone liked the idea of getting Amazon vouchers he could spend on nice things, so I should get some more stuff out of that. Another 10 quid of Amazon vouchers this week, making 70 quid in there, and £166.96 free stuff in total. Nice.
